This is perhaps the best known place to dine for the amazing views of Hilo Bay. The food (and prices) is on the upper end of culinary fare for Hilo yet with a limited food selection. They work towards quality above quantity.
The nature of their food is an American and Pacific fusion with a sushi bar to add a touch of Asian influence. They are known for their crab cakes, fresh pork and dinner cocktails. They also serve burgers and salad making the restaurant kid friendly (the Hawaiian culture loves its children!).
If it is high season in Hawaii you may want to call ahead to make reservations. This is popular place among the Big Island’s many visitors.
